CAN YOU TELL US WHAT’S WRONG WITH THE PICTURE HERE? WHY THIS DOUBLE STANDARD IN CHRISTIANITY THAT SHUNS AND MOCKS HINDUISM AS DEVIL WORSHIP BECAUSE OF ITS POLYTHEISM ? Isn’t God supposed to be omnipotent enough to KNOW everything rather than have dead minions that we need to go through instead?? Thought the direct line was through his son!
Hindus believe in ONE GOD but with different manifestations of that Supreme Being, all to be revered and respected equally.
Christianity believes in ONE GOD but with a Trinity and THAT’S IT! Nothing MORE! But…
But then WHAT exactly is all this??? A Patron Saint to pray to for every ill, every country, every LIFE FORM? To get certain results they pray to certain Saints and their prayers will be answered.
Can you tell me WHAT THE DIFFERENCE IS HERE??? I fail to understand Saints, Guardian Angels, Cherubs, etc..etc… all, I am sure that can be explained away by a bible thumper, but then WHAT makes the Hindu Gods demons and these Saints and THEIR god the ONE AND ONLY, (with of course, the son, the holy spirit, the saints, the guardian angels, the cherubs…I am sure there some more info I am missing out on!)
Take a look at the link at the end to see just HOW MANY SAINTS THERE ARE! I’m scratching my head with all this… so many names to remember now!

What is a patron saint?
Patron saints are chosen as special protectors or guardians over areas of life. These areas can include occupations, illnesses, churches, countries, causes — anything that is important to us. The earliest records show that people and churches were named after apostles and martyrs as early as the fourth century.
Recently, the popes have named patron saints but patrons can be chosen by other individuals or groups as well. Patron saints are often chosen today because an interest, talent, or event in their lives overlaps with the special area. Angels can also be named as patron saints. A patron saint can help us when we follow the example of that saint’s life and when we ask for that saint’s intercessory prayers to God.
For example, Francis of Assisi loved nature and so he is patron of ecologists. Francis de Sales was a writer and so he is patron of journalists and writers. Clare of Assisi was named patron of television because one Christmas when she was too ill to leave her bed she saw and heard Christmas Mass — even though it was taking place miles away.
